Go Ahead

Missy Moo is having a late night snack on the couch.
Missy Moo: Papa, you can go ahead and get me a Pop Tart.

Football

The girls get an evening with Papa while Mama goes to a meeting.
Mama: Maybe Papa will make you popcorn and you can watch some football.
Missy Moo: I love football. Football is my favorite.
Apple: I don't like football.
Missy Moo: What's your favorite type of ball?
Apple: I don't know. Maybe, soccer.

Avoidance

Apple is giving Papa a little back rub.
Apple: Mama, what's on Papa's back?
Mama: That's a mole.
Apple: Mama, I don't like moles.


Avoiding sleep, Apple is calling in turn for Mama and Papa. When she doesn't get an answer, she walks down the hall to where we can see her...
Apple: Are you coming?!

Runnin', Runnin', Runnin'

Daniel ran a 5K on the Saturday of Halloween. He completed the race in 21 minutes 50 seconds. Out of 500 runners, he came in at the top 10%. He is now continuing to train for a 5K the family is running in Idaho at Thanksgiving. He ran with our friend Travis - the girls are huge fans of him and his wife Bessie. They play often.

Halloween

The girls had what they wanted to dress up as for Halloween picked out a few weeks early and I was quite surprised when neither one of them changed their minds even once. Missy Moo loves to play football with Papa in the evening complete with tackling, so it was no surprise when she chose to be a football player. Apple loves to read a miniature book we have about a little squeaky mouse, so that is what she chose to be. My favorite part: painting their faces and watching Apple run around with the little ribbon sewn to her butt as a tail.
